Deborah Lalush
UX Researcher, Designer, and Communicator
About Debora
I am a disabled UX Researcher, Designer, and Communicator based in Raleigh, NC, USA. I focused my extracurricular courses in university on Cognitive Science, alongside my degree in Industrial Design, which set me up perfectly for a transition into UX upon graduation.
I'm very proud of my disabled identity, invested in disability communities online, and passionate about accessibility. This passion extends beyond accessibility in the results of design, through to accessibility in the process itself. I have done a variety of freelance projects including contracts serving Fortune-500 companies, spoken with TEDx and the upcoming International Design Conference, and helped to found the Disability in Design section of the Industrial Designers Society of America.
I am, however, currently between projects and happy to connect about any potential opportunities! My website is at deblalush.com and you can connect with me at https://linkedin.com/in/deborah-lalush
