We collect and store your data and our combined data for use on the platform as intended by creating multimedia content together. We may share your general information such as name and topic of discussion with others who are interested in engaging with you, your industry, your company, network, community, training, mentorship, media etc. We create multimedia used for promotional purposes which we share on digital channels such as LinkedIn to attract viewers to the channel. We will share this with you prior to posting and ensure that you approve. We may reshare the content on other channels or multiple times but will not change the approved assets containing your details.
Example. Adventurer X wants to make a podcast with Design in Focus. We go through all the steps and arrive at the completion line. Although Adventurer X is only interested in making a podcast, that podcast needs a cover image, which includes their name and topic, additionally we want people to come listen to the podcast, so we create a social media post. Perhaps we have an associated event, then we create posters and trailers for that from the podcast. We also create teasers from the podcast so that viewers / listeners can get bite sized content about the podcast.
When completing the participation form you select a journey out of three options. The leisure route has the least info while the adventurer route shares a lot because they have additional pages and groups. What ever you share and or post on your Design in Focus channels is data that you publish to share. Design in Focus creates multimedia content that demonstrates the value and impact of CID and the content on the platform is meant to be shared by CID professionals. You may ask us any time to delete all your data and information and we will do so without hesitation. We only use data that you have approved.
For your multimedia content, portals, groups and other pages, we collect general data such as number of visits and engagements which we will share with you upon request. When we have more man power we intend to do this monthly. This is just general data which gives us an indication of weather viewers like the content that we can use to decide to make more or take a break.
Member visitors.
We collect your personal details that you enter upon requesting membership. With this data we very that you are a person and not a bot or spammer. Because we use Wix as a service on which our platform is built, we can only guarantee safety to a degree. Wix is used by hundreds and thousands of people and companies and is known to be a reliable and respected service. It's unlikely that they would steal your info, but because they are the only other party involved, we thought we should let you know that they could access all your data as it is their product and we do not have control over them. Aside from Design in Focus and Wix, data is completely private. We do not use it to promote or sell anything. Our sponsors and collaborators are bound to our terms of engagement which includes a rule that no members may be bothered with any form of unsolicited contact. I.e., While members join to find services and products, they choose whom they wish to engage with.

We collect and store your data in our DiF Data Base which we use to interact with you. We only work with data that you shared with us. We do not share or sell your data in any way.
